We have been growing pumpkins for over 40 years! Our first pumpkins were sold at farmer’s markets and fall festivals and eventually the Pumpkin Patch was opened.

Pumpkins are a part of the Cucurbit family. They need a warm bed and shouldn’t be planted when the weather is too cold. They also need lots of sunshine, water and pollinators (bees, moths, flies and more).

We grow 10-15 different varieties at the Patch. Each different type of pumpkin seed has been bred with different properties and traits.
