Pumpkin donuts are a guest favorite and made fresh daily.

In 2019 on a busy Saturday we made over 10,000 donuts.

Our donuts are made using a Belshaw Mark 6 machine, our very special donut mix, plus a lot of love!

On the silo near the Donut House, you can find several educational posters such as “How A Plant Grows” and “Plants Make Food” to look at and learn from.

As for the produce you can find at the Pumpkin Patch -- pumpkins, gourds, and squash – they all start from seeds and grow on vines. Pumpkins and squash can be cooked or baked and eaten. Pumpkins and gourds are used for decorations. Pumpkins are planted in June and harvested in September/October.

At the farm, we grow most of the produce that we sell but partner with local farmers for the rest.

Our train – Little Bud's Railroad – is a replica of the 1863 C.P. Huntington train. The original C.P. Huntington was used in the construction of the transcontinental railroad in 1869.

It's powered by a diesel engine. When diesel is ignited, it gives power to the pistons, which drives a generator creating electricity that moves the train.
