On the silo near the Donut House, you can find several educational posters such as “How A Plant Grows” and “Plants Make Food” to look at and learn from.
As for the produce you can find at the Pumpkin Patch – pumpkins, gourds, and squash – they all start from seeds and grow on vines. Pumpkins and squash can be cooked or baked and eaten. Pumpkins and gourds are used for decorations. Pumpkins are planted in June and harvested in September/October.
At the farm, we grow most of the produce that we sell but partner with local farmers for the rest.
