• Although most people call them all "peacocks," technically only male peafowl are called peacocks. Female peafowl are referred to as peahen and babies are peachicks!

• Peafowls are members of the pheasant family.

• A group of peafowl is called an ostentation, or a pride—very appropriate for this showy bird

• Their length (including tail) can reach 5 feet.

• The Highland is a Scottish breed of rustic cattle and are often known as “the gentle giants of Scotland”.

• Highland Cattle are recognized by their long horns and long shaggy, woolly coats.

• The Highland Cow is the oldest registered breed of cattle in the world!

• The collective name for a group of cows is usually a herd. However, a group of Highland cattle is known as a ‘fold’ – named after the open shelters they can be kept in over winter

• Pygmy goats are domesticated, friendly, curious and intelligent.

• Once a pygmy goat gets bored, it will loudly call out for attention. They might even nudge or act out to make people spend time with them.

• The average lifespan of a pygmy goat is 10 – 15 years.
