• Hens communicate with their chicks while they’re still inside their eggs!

• Chickens are omnivores. Chickens do eat plants, seeds, and grains, but also bits of dairy or meat products. Chickens also like to peck around in the dirt and find bugs to eat, for example, beetles, larvae, slugs, and grasshoppers.

• Chickens have a great memory for faces! They have the ability to recognize and remember around 100 different faces (human and chicken).

• A female rabbit is called a doe. A male rabbit is called a buck. A young rabbit is called a kit (or kitten).

• More than half of the world’s rabbits live in North America.

• Rabbits are herbivores (plant eaters) and prefer to munch on weeds, grasses, and clover.

• Their vision covers nearly 360 degrees which allows them to see what's coming from behind them, above them, and from the sides without turning their heads. The trade-off is that rabbits have a small blind spot directly in front of their faces.

• A rabbit’s ears help them stay cool.

• Their length (including tail) can reach 5 feet.
